Taiwan's Zhen Ding, the world's biggest circuit board maker, is pushing into higher-end chips gear for AI data centers — good news for the company and for Taiwan's AI supply chain.

• AI chips are getting faster and computing clusters bigger, so data centers need far more bandwidth, speed and power efficiency.
• That raises the bar on circuit boards — more layers, better materials, cleaner signals — which favors the few companies that can build them.
• The global circuit board market is expected to top $140 billion by 2030, with high-end boards making up more than 60% of it.
