A light local note from Hawaii: viewers sending in birthday wishes got their moment on air, a feel-good item with no hard news angle.

• Birthday greetings went out to people celebrating on October 12, with Michaela joining in.
• The greeting used the Hawaiian phrase "Hauʻoli Lā Hānau," which simply means happy birthday.
• Nothing here affects markets, politics, or policy — it is purely a community shout-out.

Outlook: Expect the same birthday roundup to return tomorrow with a new batch of names.
