China kept up military pressure near Taiwan, with Taiwan's forces monitoring and ready to respond.

• Taiwan detected 3 Chinese aircraft, 9 ships, and 8 coast guard vessels operating around the strait in a 24-hour span.
• Two of the aircraft entered Taiwan's southwest air defense zone, plus a separate drone sighting over the strait.
• Taiwan's military used aircraft, ships, and land-based missile systems to track the activity.

Outlook: Expect this kind of near-daily Chinese military presence near Taiwan to continue without immediate escalation.
