Love Island USA is recruiting Hawaii-based singles for its next season, a fun entertainment note rather than hard news.

• Casting is open now for season 9, with locals able to nominate themselves or someone else.
• The show previously featured contestants with Hawaii ties, including season 8 winner Bryce Alakai.
• Bryce and his partner Trinity Taylor won the show's cash prize last season.
• Season 9 is set to premiere in summer 2027.

Outlook: Hawaii hopefuls can apply now ahead of the 2027 premiere.
