A local Oʻahu appliance company is giving away up to $30,000 worth of appliances to nonprofits as a thank-you to the community.

• Pacific Appliance Group, nearing its 30th year in business, is donating items like refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ranges to local nonprofits.
• Nonprofits, churches, and schools on Oʻahu that serve the community are eligible to apply.
• The company says the giveaway is meant to help these groups extend their own reach and support more people.
• Applications are open now through November 30 on the company's website.

Outlook: Nonprofits have until the end of November to apply before the donation deadline closes.
