A local shopping event returns to Pearlridge Center this Saturday, good news for small businesses and shoppers looking to get a head start on holiday gifts.

• Almost 30 local vendors will sell food, drinks, bags, purses, and other gifts at the pop-up.
• American Savings Bank is joining for the first time, bringing its Buy Local program, which gives debit card holders discounts at over 150 local merchants.
• A local coffee shop, one of the Buy Local merchants, is using the exposure to help fund a new storefront opening in the Salt Lake area.
• Shoppers can try food samples, join activities, and collect prizes at vendor booths during the event.
