Woman pleads guilty in Wahiawa attack and theft case
A 20-year-old woman has admitted to badly beating and robbing a woman with special needs on Oahu, closing out a case that drew public anger.
- Jasmine Keola pleaded guilty to kidnapping, assault, and several theft charges in the attack on Karley Ng in Wahiawa last April.
- The plea deal gives her four years of probation and 18 months in jail, with credit for time already served.
- She has been locked up since September of last year, so much of that jail time is already behind her.
- The victim's mother, Angela Viera, has been on supervised release since December 2025.
- Sentencing is set for January 2027.
Outlook: The case now moves toward sentencing, where the agreed deal is expected to be formalized.
