A 25-year-old woman was killed by a driver who fled the scene in Waipahu overnight, and Honolulu police are still looking for whoever was behind the wheel.

• She was hit just before 2 a.m. while in the road on Kupuohi Street, outside a marked crosswalk, and died at the scene.
• The driver was heading north and kept going without stopping.
• Police are asking anyone who saw the crash or knows who was driving to contact the HPD traffic division.
• This is the 32nd traffic death on Oahu this year, keeping the island's road toll on pace with recent years.

Outlook: The investigation stays open until witnesses or vehicle evidence identify the driver, who would face felony charges for leaving the scene.
