Wheelchair gets Mandalorian spaceship costume
A nonprofit turned an 11-year-old's wheelchair into a Star Wars starfighter, and a separate airport break-in ended badly for the man who tried it.
- Dash Stanton, 11, received a full spaceship costume built around his wheelchair, modeled on the N-1 starfighter from The Mandalorian.
- The build came from the nonprofit Magic Wheelchair and includes a Grogu figure as an accessory; Dash dresses as Mando.
- At John Wayne Airport in Orange County, a 26-year-old passenger broke through a gate and stole an airfield tug.
- He crashed the tug into another vehicle, then failed at stealing a truck, and now faces several charges.
Outlook: Expect the costume to make the rounds ahead of Halloween, while the airport case moves through court.
