A Maui furniture retailer is leaning on local recognition and in-stock inventory, which is good news for island shoppers tired of long delivery waits.

• Lifestyle Maui Furniture won a local "best of" vote from readers and says it holds the island's largest in-stock selection.
• Because stock sits on the island, buyers skip the usual wait for mainland shipping.
• The range covers living room, dining room and bedroom sets, entertainment centers, and a deep run of sofa sleepers aimed at condos and vacation rentals.
• Styles run from contemporary and coastal to island-inspired, with design help and free delivery on most items.

Outlook: In-stock island inventory stays the main selling point as shipping delays keep frustrating Hawaii furniture buyers.
