Honolulu Crimestoppers seeks suspects in credit card fraud and property damage cases

Oct 07, 2026

Honolulu police are asking the public for help identifying two men in separate cases, with tips worth up to $1,000.

  • A man used someone else's debit card to make unauthorized purchases at a store in the Kuna area, caught on camera in a red Yankees cap and a shirt reading "bless us."
  • A second man smashed the glass door of a business in the Pro City area after midnight, striking it with a metal bar while barefoot.
  • The second suspect wore a Patriots shirt and what looked like a hospital wristband, and he stared directly into the security camera.
  • Card holders are advised to write "see ID" on the back of a new card instead of signing it, so a thief can't copy the signature.

Outlook: Tips can go to the Crimestoppers hotline, the Honolulu Crimestoppers website, or the P3 Tips app, and both cases stay open until someone is identified.
