Dave & Buster's at Ala Moana is running a full day of Halloween events on October 31, with separate activities for kids and adults — good news for families looking for something to do.

• Doors are open from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m., with free trick-or-treating at the front desk all day.
• The kids' "Boo Bash" runs in the morning: pancake breakfast, costume contest, game card, and unlimited video games.
• Adults get the 18-and-over "Moonlight Mixer" in the evening, with food, games, and a costume contest.
• Mixer tickets also include the late-night "Midnight Howl" — a DJ dance party with over $5,000 in cash prizes for costumes.
• A limited-time menu adds wings, cheese planks, a peanut butter chocolate cake, Halloween funnel fries, and themed drinks.

Outlook: Both parties are ticketed and sold through Dave & Buster's own site and Fever, so spots are likely to be limited as the date approaches.
