Applying to UH just got simpler with new single app

Oct 06, 2026

The University of Hawaii has launched one application for all 10 of its campuses, good news for students who had to juggle separate systems before.

  • The new Apply Hawaii form replaces the multiple applications and accounts students needed depending on which campus they wanted.
  • Anyone applying for the fall 2027 semester can now use the single common application.
  • The system took two years to build and covers everything from trade programs to tech careers to PhDs.
  • It is part of a wider push to cut the red tape that makes college harder to navigate.

Outlook: The first full application cycle under the new system runs toward fall 2027, and success will be measured by whether more students apply.
