- Lai Ching-te received the credentials of Eswatini's new ambassador to Taiwan, Kunene, at the Presidential Office.
- This year marks the 58th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Lai said the friendship between them has withstood the test of time and shifts in the international landscape.
- Taiwan will promote an industrial innovation park under the Prosperous Partnership Project, and will continue to deepen cooperation in agriculture, healthcare, education, trade and economics, and technology.
