Full-strength National Day air rehearsal on the 5th cancelled due to weather, moved to the morning of the 7th
Taiwan's National Day air display has hit a weather delay, a minor setback for rehearsal plans but not for the main event.
- The third full-strength air rehearsal, set for the morning of the 5th, was called off because of bad weather.
- Flight safety was the deciding factor, after a review of visibility and flying conditions.
- The rehearsal moves to the reserve slot on the morning of the 7th.
- Two earlier rehearsals already went ahead, a half-strength run on 30 September and a full-strength run on 2 October.
- All other National Day preparations and drills are continuing on schedule.
Outlook: If the weather turns bad again on the 7th, the schedule will be adjusted and announced through official National Day channels.
