A 48-year-old woman died after crashing into a tree in Kalaeloa early in the morning, the latest in a steady run of deadly wrecks on Oahu.

• She was driving north on Coral Sea Road, missed a bend, ran off the road and hit a tree.
• She was taken to the hospital and died there.
• Police say she was not wearing a seat belt, and that speed and alcohol look like factors.
