Turning Point USA's ties to an Israeli-government-linked funder
A leaked contract shows Turning Point USA agreed to take money from an Israel-based nonprofit to host faith summits and push pro-Israel material on campuses — damaging for a group that brands itself America First.
- The deal, signed in May 2025 while Charlie Kirk was alive, commits the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews to pay TPUSA $700,000 over two years.
- In return the group gets main-stage speaking slots and pro-Israel activism kits sent to more than 200 college campuses.
- IFCJ raises money from Christians for Jewish causes but works closely with the Israeli government, and its president has said Israel asks the group to run projects during emergencies.
- Kirk had turned critical of the US-Israel relationship in his final months, saying a donor pulled $2 million a year because he let Tucker Carlson speak and that he would not be bullied into dropping his critics.
- Since his death a year ago, TPUSA and his widow Erika have swung back to a firmly pro-Israel line.
Outlook: Expect more scrutiny of who funds conservative media and advocacy groups, and continued fighting over what Kirk actually believed at the end.
