Wistron August revenue hits record on AI server demand

Sep 09, 2026

Taiwan contract manufacturer Wistron just posted its biggest month ever, a strong sign that the AI server buildout is still accelerating.

  • August sales topped NT$460 billion, up about half from July and more than doubling from a year ago.
  • Sales for the first eight months of the year are up nearly 100% from last year, so the company is running at roughly twice its 2025 size.
  • AI server shipments are the reason — demand keeps growing faster than the company can scale.
  • The board just approved new spending in Texas and Vietnam, about $205 million total, to expand server production.

Outlook: Wistron is betting the AI server boom lasts, and the new plants suggest it expects orders to keep climbing into next year.
