Taiwan's two big power-supply makers both posted their strongest-ever August sales, a positive sign that the AI data center buildout is still running hot.

• Delta Electronics sales jumped 35% from a year earlier, its best August ever and second-best month on record.
• The gain comes from Nvidia's new platform, which needs upgraded power racks, plus a full order book.
• Lite-On hit an all-time monthly high, up 25% from last year, driven by power systems for AI servers.
• Power and components made up over half of Delta's sales, while cloud and connected-device work made up 60% of Lite-On's.

Outlook: Both companies expect demand to stay strong through the rest of this year and into next.
