Landmark Optoelectronics Posts Record August Revenue, Up 1.09 Times Year-on-Year

Sep 07, 2026

Optical communications maker Landmark Optoelectronics saw August revenue surge to a record high, more than doubling from a year earlier — good news for shareholders and for the optical communications supply chain as a whole.

  • August revenue reached a record NT$1.247 billion, with cumulative revenue for the first eight months up nearly 30% year-on-year.
  • July earnings had already grown substantially, with after-tax profit up almost three times year-on-year.
  • The main growth driver is COSA optical sub-assemblies, where the company holds a leading position in global outsourced packaging and capacity is currently fully loaded.
  • Capacity utilisation for its mainstay optical transceiver modules stands at about 70%, while next-generation 800G high-speed solutions are undergoing customer validation.
  • External laser source modules have entered design-in and engineering pilot production, with small-volume shipments expected to begin next year.

Outlook: With AI data centres continuing to drive strong demand for high-speed optical communications, Landmark Optoelectronics' revenue momentum is expected to hold up in the near term, and any volume ramp of CPO architectures would bring a fresh wave of light-source orders.
