• His first clip claims credit for pushing the city to double holiday and elderly respect payments, with qualifying seniors getting up to NT$6,500 before the Mid-Autumn Festival.
• The city government added a supplementary budget to fund the increase after he pressed for it early in the year.
• He is promising that as mayor he would double the payments permanently, worth NT$20,000 a year per senior, plus better transit and newer buses.
