Taiwanese memory maker ADATA is booming as the AI buildout drives memory prices higher — very good news for the company and its investors.

• August sales came in at NT$18.93 billion, a record for the sixth month in a row and nearly four times last year's level.
• Sales for the first eight months crossed NT$100 billion, up more than triple from a year ago.
• Memory chip makers are prioritizing AI, leaving less supply for everyday uses and pushing prices up.
• Demand from PC, industrial and retail customers keeps growing, and SSD sales hit their own monthly record.
• DRAM now makes up about two-thirds of sales, with SSDs most of the rest.

Outlook: As long as AI spending stays hot and memory supply stays tight, ADATA's sales and prices look set to keep climbing.
