Avermedia server unit Yongqing hits record high on AI server push

Sep 04, 2026

Taiwan server maker Yongqing (7711) jumped to a record high, a strong signal that the AI hardware boom is still feeding smaller Taiwanese suppliers.

  • The stock hit its daily limit and closed at an all-time high, up more than double from its late-July low.
  • Business should be stronger in the second half as Nvidia B200 and B300 server shipments ramp up.
  • Custom-chip (ASIC) servers are the second engine, expected to bring in about a tenth of sales by the fourth quarter.
  • Foreign investors have been heavy buyers over the past month, and margin borrowing on the stock has surged too.
  • The company is spending on research, lab space and AI-skilled hires, betting demand spreads from AI training to everyday business use and edge computing.

Outlook: Management expects each quarter of the second half to beat the last, with full-year results likely above earlier forecasts — and other small AI affiliates in the Pegatron/ASRock group are expected to follow.
