• Forum leaders passed a resolution condemning China for firing long-range missiles without warning into the Pacific.
• Taiwan says Chinese agents filmed and tracked civil society members at the event, and plainclothes security followed its officials around Palau.
• Taiwan is also deepening ties with Lithuania, pairing its chipmaking with Lithuanian laser technology and talking about a trade framework and defense industry work.

Outlook: Beijing's heavy-handed approach in the Pacific looks likely to win Taiwan more sympathy, and Taipei says it will keep showing up at the forum.
