Topco Scientific supplier Grand Process Technology sees order book double
Taiwan's Grand Process Technology, which supplies fluorine-based chemicals to chipmakers, says its order book has almost doubled — a strong signal that the chip building boom is still accelerating.
- Orders in hand jumped from around NT$3.8 billion early in the year to over NT$7.5 billion.
- The surge comes from semiconductor and memory makers racing to build new plants.
- Advanced packaging is creating demand for many new specialty chemicals, and supply is falling short.
- Revenue this year is expected to grow 80–90% over last year.
- Demand for 2027 and 2028 is already described as very strong.
Outlook: The main challenge now is expanding capacity fast enough to keep up with orders.
