AI business lifts Qisda's August revenue 12% from a year earlier
Taiwanese electronics maker Qisda posted stronger August sales as AI product shipments picked up, a positive sign for the AI hardware supply chain.
- August revenue rose 12% from a year earlier and 3% from July, a rare double gain.
- Growth came from three AI lines: AI infrastructure, AI solutions and smart manufacturing, and AI medical and healthcare.
- All three areas grew by double digits compared with last year.
- Sales for the first eight months of the year are up only 2.7%, so the AI push is doing the heavy lifting late in the year.
Outlook: If AI shipments keep flowing, Qisda's revenue growth should keep accelerating into the rest of the year.
