• They will meet Taiwan's judicial branch, finance ministry, and trade negotiation office, and tour Taiwan's tech industry.
• Both have backed Taiwan inside the WTO, where China works to shut Taipei out of international organizations.
• Haiti and Belize are among the shrinking group of countries that still formally recognize Taiwan.
