• Chung Hsiao-ping admitted that pressure is high in the Zhongzheng-Wanhua constituency, where a group of candidates led by the TPP's Wu Yi-hsuan is going after blue-camp votes.

• With too many pan-blue candidates running and too little to go around, blue-camp rivals in the same district are splitting the same pool of votes, leaving everyone feeling insecure.

• Chung Hsiao-ping warned that if the TPP wins all six of its seats, the KMT's seat count could fall to 24 to 26, and it could also face a white-green alliance making a play for the speaker and deputy speaker posts.

• He also criticised Ko Wen-je for undermining the KMT at every turn, calling on blue-camp supporters to concentrate their votes and avoid strategic vote-switching.
