• The moon will glow a coppery red at maximum, and the eclipse fades out by around 7:51 p.m.
• You need a clear view to the east — just south of east, around 105 degrees on a compass — so head to a spot with no buildings or hills in the way, like Makapuʻu Point on Oʻahu or Hāna on Maui.
• Skies are expected to be mostly clear at peak time.
