Taiwanese circuit-board material maker Taiflex has locked limit-up three days running as its new PTFE material gets tested for Nvidia's next-generation Rubin Ultra platform — very good news for holders, who have seen the stock double this month.

• Taiflex's PTFE material could replace the glass or quartz cloth used inside high-end circuit boards, a "cloth-free" approach paired with silica filler.
• If it passes certification, Taiflex would be only the second supplier in the world able to make it, after China's Shengyi.
• The stock hit a record high and jumped to limit-up within five minutes of the open, with huge unfilled buy orders stacked up.
• The company is pushing into semiconductor materials and already earned three-quarters of last year's full-year profit in the first half, helped by a better product mix and fatter margins.
• The appeal is supply: glass and quartz cloth are in short supply upstream, so a substitute solves a real bottleneck for AI server makers.

Outlook: Customer testing and sample shipments are underway now, with mass production targeted for 2027 — until certification lands, the stock is running on expectation rather than orders.
