Bitcoin price targets and levels to watch
Bitcoin is cooling off after a rejection near the low $80,000s, but the bigger picture still looks bullish for long-term holders.
- Bitcoin got knocked back at resistance in the low $80,000s and is now drifting lower to clear out downside liquidity.
- The pullback is normal after the daily RSI got very overbought, and it could last another week or two.
- The weekly chart still shows the same bullish divergence that marked the end of the 2022 bear market, a long-term buy signal.
- Ethereum has broken out above $2,400 and Solana pushed past its old highs, the first bullish shift in either in a year.
- XRP and Chainlink are both resetting after hitting resistance, in line with the rest of the market.
Outlook: Expect choppy or slightly lower prices for the next few days to a week, with the larger uptrend still intact.
## Bitcoin Levels
- **Bias:** Short-term cautious, longer-term bullish.
- **Buy / accumulate:** Downside liquidity at 76.6K and 75.5K are the likely dip targets; 74.1K below that.
- **Support:** $73,000–$75,000 (former resistance now support); short-term liquidity already tagged at 77.7K–77.8K.
- **Resistance:** $80,000–$82,000; then $86,000–$88,000 on a confirmed break above $82,000.
- **Targets:** Downside 76.6K / 75.5K / 74.1K; upside liquidity near $81,000–$82,000, then $86,000–$88,000.
- **Invalidation:** A weekly close above $80,000 flips the weekly trend indicator green and cancels the short-term pullback case.
