A road-rage argument in Taipei's Xinyi District turned into a street fight on Wednesday afternoon, ending with both men taken in by police.

• A foreign man and a Taiwanese man got out of their cars after a driving dispute, traded insults, then started fighting.
• The fight moved from the roadside into the middle of the street and onto a crosswalk, drawing a crowd.
• The Taiwanese man used his height to throw the other man down and pin him, while the women with each of them joined in — one shouting for help at a passing patrol car.
• A bystander said the foreign man threw the first punch; the Taiwanese man also insisted he was hit first.
