Former Taiwan People's Party chairman Ko Wen-je has returned to the streets to stump for candidates, a sign that he remains the small party's main draw for votes in November's local elections.

• With the countdown under way to the November 28 local elections, every party is bringing out big names to appear on stage and drum up votes.
• While canvassing, Ko picked up a credit card someone had dropped and called out on the spot for its owner; when no one came forward, it was handed over to the Banqiao Police Precinct.
