• The car charged at officers and their vehicle in a narrow alley stacked with wooden pallets, leaving little room to escape.
• Police smashed a window and shouted at him to stop, fired a warning shot into the air, then fired 16 rounds at the tires when he kept ramming.
• The man was hit in the buttocks and taken to hospital, where he is now stable; a man and a woman from the car were detained and drugs were seized.
