Longs Drugs is running drive-thru shot clinics across Hawaii, good news for anyone who wants to get vaccinated without waiting in a store.

• Ten drive-thru clinics are set up: six on Oahu, two on the Big Island in Hilo and Waimea, one on Kauai, one on Maui.
• People stay in the car, roll down the window, get the shot, and drive off.
• More than 15 shots are on offer — flu, COVID, RSV, shingles, hepatitis, tetanus, even typhoid.
• No appointment needed, though you can sign up ahead of time, and a pharmacist is on site to advise which shots you need.
• The clinics are run with HMSA and mostly land on weekends over the next few weeks.
