• DPP legislator Su Chiao-hui and KMT New Taipei Mayor Hou Yu-ih appeared together for an inspection, with both stressing that flood management transcends party lines.
• Su Chiao-hui has already announced a run for New Taipei mayor, giving the joint appearance an electoral dimension as well.
