Two families in Ewa Gentry on Oahu were robbed in similar break-ins a month apart, and they think the same masked man did both.

• Security cameras at both homes show a man in a hoodie, long pants, a homemade ski mask and white gloves, carrying a flashlight.
• He took specific jewelry and left plenty of other valuables behind, which suggests he knew what he was looking for.
• Honolulu police say they are investigating but see no sign yet that the two cases are connected.
