• Taichung Mayor Lu Shiu-yen, Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an and Legislative Yuan Speaker Han Kuo-yu appeared together recently, a sight seen as the Blue camp's team-based strategy taking shape.
• Lu Shiu-yen said that one person travels fast but a group travels both fast and far, stressing that the Blue camp must stay united.
• She described herself as one of the more senior figures in the party and said she has been working on integration throughout this period, with plans to widen it further.
• She once again raised the banner of the "Republic of China," saying that anyone who works for the good of the Republic of China and the good of Taiwan is a fellow traveller.
• The goal is clear: first clear the hurdle of the 2026 local elections, then push a year later for a return to power in 2028.
