Taiwan's Yunlin County has put an AI drafting tool into every one of its 23 departments, a win for Foxconn's push to sell its own large language model and for local officials drowning in paperwork.

• The system, built on Foxconn's FoxBrain model, cuts the time to write an official document from 20 minutes to 2 minutes.
• Yunlin produces around ten thousand official documents a month, so the time saved across staff is large.
• Senior staff picked thousands of real documents to train and test the tool, then fed in tens of thousands more from the past five years.
• It also flags missing information, checks formatting, and can draft from uploaded attachments or older similar documents.
• Staff who use it enough get paid in Yunlin Coin, the county's local currency, to push holdouts off paper habits.

Outlook: Foxconn now has a live government showcase for FoxBrain, and other Taiwanese counties are the obvious next customers.
