• Centring her platform on "Prosperity Together in the Homeland," Wu Hsiu-hua set out directions covering tribal livelihoods, land rights, indigenous language and culture, disaster preparedness and safety, and tribal governance.
• The event opened with a blessing from tribal elders and a traditional dance performance, with several hundred community members attending despite heavy rain.
• Legislators Huang Chien-pin and Lu Hsien-yi, along with Taitung City Mayor Chen Ming-feng, appeared on stage in support, stressing local unity and grassroots engagement.
• Huang Chien-pin described the race as the fiercest in recent years and said Wu Hsiu-hua has been subjected to unfair pressure over this period.
• The policy focuses on caring for elders, children's education, and employment opportunities for young people returning to their home communities.
