Foxconn puts another $188 million into its US AI server unit Q-Edge
Foxconn is pouring more money into building AI servers inside the United States, a positive sign for US manufacturing jobs and for the AI hardware boom.

- The cash comes from Foxconn's own funds and is meant as a long-term investment, lifting total money put into Q-Edge to about $226 million.

- Foxconn plans to raise its overall spending on new plants and equipment by more than 30% this year, mostly for AI server racks, liquid cooling and testing.
