Techman Robot to ship heavy-duty TM45S robot for AI server assembly in 2027

Aug 19, 2026

Taiwan's Techman Robot expects a stronger second half as AI server building drives demand for bigger, heavier factory robots — good news for the company and for automation suppliers riding the AI wave.

  • Techman is launching the TM45S, a robot arm built to lift and assemble the heavy parts inside AI servers.
  • One arm can carry 50 kilos, and two working together can handle 100 kilos, guided by a built-in camera system.
  • Sales open at the end of this year, with deliveries starting in 2027.
  • Chips work makes up about a third of revenue, and system integration is the fastest-growing piece, with orders holding up into the second half.
  • Customers that installed one automated production line are now copying it onto a second line or starting new projects.

Outlook: Second-half results should beat the first half, and Techman is staying focused on real factory work rather than the humanoid robots still stuck at the demo stage.
