A rider was thrown from his motorcycle after hitting an ambulance on an emergency run in New Taipei, and he escaped with cuts and bruises but no life-threatening injuries.

• The 30-year-old rider could not swerve in time, struck the front of the ambulance, and was thrown off, landing with injuries across his body.
