A driver lost control on a left-hand bend in a Taipei road underpass and hit two things in a row, but nobody was badly hurt.

• A 48-year-old man skidded on the curve in the Xinhai Road underpass in Taipei's Zhongzheng District.
• His white imported sedan hit the center divider first, then slid right into a car in the outside lane.
• The front of his car was almost destroyed, but he walked away with scrapes to his neck, hands and feet.
• The 41-year-old woman driving the other car was unhurt.
• Police found no sign of drink or drug driving.

Outlook: Police are still working out the exact cause and who was at fault.
