2026 Kaohsiung Hi Cocktail Festival opens August 29 with 10 top Japanese and Korean bartenders
Kaohsiung is scaling up its biggest night-economy event, good news for the city's bars, hotels, and summer tourism.
- The festival runs August 29 and 30 along the Love River, from afternoon into the evening.
- Ten star bartenders from Japan and South Korea are coming, up from four last year.
- More than 70 bars and restaurants are taking part, with over 40 pouring drinks made just for the event.
- Early-bird ticket sets are on sale at 7-Eleven kiosks and include a wristband, five drink vouchers, and a tote bag.
- Three hotels are offering room and dining deals to pull in visitors from other cities.
Outlook: Expect a bigger tourist turnout than last year, with the city betting the international lineup turns the festival into a regional draw.
