A 40-year-old Vietnamese woman survived a fall from a bridge into a river in Keelung after clinging to a railing until firefighters reached her.

• The woman fell from Caishu Bridge over the Tianliao River late Tuesday night, reportedly after a fight with her husband.
• Passers-by called emergency services, and she held onto a railing above the water instead of being swept away.
• Keelung's fire department sent 16 people, seven vehicles and two boats, and used an extension ladder to pull her out.
• She had no obvious injuries but was taken to hospital as a precaution and is not in danger.

Outlook: Police are still looking into what led to the fall, with her husband having arrived at the scene.
