New Taipei Green Living Music Festival to be held on September 12 and 13
New Taipei City's Green Living Music Festival will be held this year over two days, September 12 and 13 — good news for anyone who enjoys classic Mandopop singers and outdoor events.
- For the first time, the festival moves to the outdoor grounds of the New Taipei City Art Museum, running from 2:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on both days.
- The main stage centres on classic Mandarin-language female vocalists, with Winnie Hsin, Matilda Tao, Tarcy Su, Lee Yi-chun, Chou Hui, Maggie Chiang and Sun Shu-mei taking turns to perform.
- On September 12, Japanese singer Yo Hitoto, who has not visited Taiwan in a long time, will also appear to meet fans.
- A second stage is devoted to original music, featuring up-and-coming bands selected through an open call, with Sweet John and Japanese girl band Faulieu. closing the line-up.
- The event also brings together art, market stalls and green living elements, billed as an urban outdoor experience suitable for both families and groups of friends.
Outlook: The event is free and held on outdoor grounds, and large crowds are expected from the afternoon into the evening on both days.
