Fifteen young people from Nantou County left for South Korea on Tuesday for a two-week training trip, a small win for Taiwan's rural talent programs.

• The group is heading to Buyeo and Chungju to study how South Korean towns revive themselves.
• The trip is paid for by a government youth fund that covers flights, insurance, living costs, and training.
• Participants will make videos about what they see and bring the ideas back to Nantou.
• Nantou has made youth training a priority as it tries to keep young people and new business ideas in the county.
