Taiwan and South Korea are deepening their library exchanges, which is good news for the promotion of reading and cultural cooperation in both places.

• Taiwan's National Central Library donated 100 titles of Taiwanese literature, history, art and humanities books to the Busan Metropolitan Library in South Korea.
• The donated books include both the Chinese and English editions of "Taiwan Travelogue," which recently won the 2026 International Booker Prize.
• The National Library of Public Information signed a memorandum of understanding with the Busan Metropolitan Library, and the two sides will share library resources and promote reading in the future.
• This cooperation originated from the "Asia-Pacific Public Library Forum" held in Taiwan this past May, brought about by the two sides' shared philosophies.
