• Democratic Progressive Party New Taipei mayoral candidate Su Chiao-hui attended a Beyblade competition hosted by city councillor Peng Chia-yun, teaming up with children and calling her teammates "coaches" as she asked them how to play, creating a lively atmosphere.
• Su Chiao-hui proposed adopting a "95-centimetre perspective" — that is, seeing the city from a child's height — to make New Taipei the most child-friendly city for raising children.
• Peng Chia-yun listed the child and youth policies she has fought for in recent years, including raising the first-child birth incentive to NT$30,000, subsidies for public kindergarten meal fees, and free nutritious lunches for primary and junior high school students.
